sample 1MaineAEYC also hosts an annual conference each fall.  The 2012 conference was held on the University of Southern Maine campus, and it was a collaboration with Maine Roads to Quality, the Maine DHHS Office of Child and Family Services, and the Maine Head Start TTA Project.  Charlotte Stetson, co-author of Powerful Interactions: How to Connect with Children to Extend Their Learning, was the guest speaker.

state.

Afternoon breakout sessions included presentations and facilitated discussions for educators working in preschool classrooms, infant/toddler programs, family child care, and school age programs.
