Resource Hub Tree

MeECO offers a network wide resource hub meeting each month. This meeting is intended as a place for all who are interested in or working in nature based learning to join together and share resources. This meeting is open and flexible for participants to join in each month or jump in as they are able. The facilitators and network coordinator will lead the meeting and compile resources into a resource library as the group moves forward. Participants should come to meetings ready to share the work they are engaged in currently and resources that they want to share. There are opportunities to connect and support one another’s work here.

Resource 1: Interactive Map of Outdoor Early Childhood Schools & Programs in Maine

This is a growing map of outdoor early childhood programs in Maine and will be updated regularly. We include programs in this database if their website mentions nature-based learning or extended outdoor environments.

DISCLAIMER: We do not promote or endorse any of these specific programs. We do not assess the quality of these programs. Rather, we see them as a broad network of providers increasing children's access to outdoors.
